How it works

A synthetic peptide targeting casein kinase 2 (CK2), a constitutively active serine/threonine kinase implicated in cell survival and proliferation signalling. The interest is oncological — CK2 is overexpressed in several cancers. Research into CK2 inhibitor peptides as potential cancer therapeutics is early-stage. Human data doesn't exist in a completed trial form.
